"He is blackmailing them only for the appointment of an army chief of his choice," the JUI-F leader said in a press conference in Sukkur today.

He said that the PTI "has a record of destroying the peace in Islamabad", adding that the "root of all the evil in the country is this one party".

Fazl also stated that he trusted the authority responsible for the process of the appointment of the new army chief.
