PTI Secretary General Asad Umar has censured the Islamabad deputy commissioner (DC) for not giving permission for Imran Khan’s helicopter to land at Parade Ground in the capital.

Addressing the DC, Umar said, “DC sahib, I want to tell you also — orders are coming from somewhere else but the signatures are yours — the way you are putting Imran Khan’s life in danger, you will also have to accept the responsibility for this.

If this is not your decision, then show some moral courage and tell whose decision it is.“

He further said the DC had “no legal reasons to not give permission” and claimed that “this is all a drama […] to put Imran Khan’s life in danger” by not allowing him to land at a safe place.
