Uplift projects for Kohat reviewed

PESHAWAR: A delegation of Asian Development Bank (ADB) on Monday visited Kohat district and reviewed progress on various projects of public welfare.

The bank’s officials also held a meeting with district development advisory committee chairman MPA Ziaullah Bangash and officials of Water Supply and Sanitation Company.

Mr Bangash claimed after the meeting that Rs12 billion development projects had been approved for Kohat district.

He said that projects would be financed by both the provincial government and ADB.

Kohat city mayor Qari Sher Zaman, tribal elders, and notables of the district were also present during the meeting.
