Chocolate malt mug cake

This is regarding the Cook It Yourself section “Chocolate malt mug cake” by Aamnah Arshad (YW, October 8). I tried the mug cake and found it to be super delicious.

I really like the easy recipes in this section; however, I have noticed that the recipes are mostly of desserts, and hardly anything which is spicy or cheesy; therefore, I would like to request the writer to include savoury recipes in the section as well, as they make a good combination with tea and coffee.

Paper quill pen-cum-bookmark

This is with reference to the Wonder crafts section “Paper quill pen-cum-bookmark” by The Crafter (YW, October 15). It was an amazing craft. I made a lot of paper quill pens cum bookmarks and am using them in my books and notebooks.

This kind of crafts are really useful, especially when the prices of small stationary items are sky rocketing. I would request the writer to make more such stationary and decorative items which may come handy in our daily life.

This is regarding the article “Hope gives meaning to life” by Sarwasha Mairaj (YW, November 5, 2022). The story described how hope can bring inspiration and motivation in your life. One must not give up on hope.

In this competitive era, where everyone is striving hard to make their future bright, there comes time when due to some error people lose hope before they even reach their destination. So, keeping in mind the points of the author, we should not only hope for a better future, but should also work on achieving our goals.

Your life has a purpose

We all have a purpose in life, it is up to us how soon we realise and know our purpose in life.

To make your life worthy, you should never stop dreaming because dreams give us hope. No matter how difficult and painful our journey becomes, try new things and keep on moving.

People will criticise, but if you pay attention to them, you will never get success. Take an empathetic approach, identify opportunities, adjust your expectations, be like a rock and face every difficulty.

Live a happy life with no negativity, because life is a gift; if you take your life seriously, then you are truly going to win every day. Do something that takes you closer to your goals and find your purpose in life.
