When you hear about drowning or stranded migrants, why the people try to sail on a overloaded boat.
Instead of finding a better life they end up drowned and dead.

These migrants who are braving the odds are seeking more than just an asylum or job opportunities.,As they are not rushing towards the neighbouring rich Gulf states or Turkey. But seeking a better life with in an environment that is conditioned by the freedom and liberal values and the enshrined liberties of Western Europe.

Mostly because of extremely corrupt, dishonest, and inefficient politicians and bureaucrats in their homelands.
