BAHAWALPUR: The Samasatta police claimed on Monday to have killed three alleged robbers in an ‘encounter’ near Sutlej bridge.

According to PRO Aamir Nazir of DPO Aibadat Nisar, police received information that about eight hardened criminals, led by their ring leader Abdul Majid alias Katto, were heading towards the street of Humera Hotel to loot commuters on Lahore-Karachi highway.
