KARACHI: His Holiness Dr Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin, the spiritual leader of Dawoodi Bohras, suggested to the provincial government to focus on development of roads to strengthen the city’s overall infrastructure.

In his meeting with Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah at CM House, the Syedna encouraged the government to make efforts to improve the economic condition and develop the infrastructure of district South, the business district of the city.

He thanked the Sindh government for facilitating his visit to Karachi and making necessary security arrangements.

The chief minister lauded the efforts of the Dawoodi Bohra community, especially in the field of education, and hailed the teachings of His Holiness as a driving force behind these noble efforts.

Mr Shah learnt that the Syedna had on Sunday visited shops and other business establishment of his community members in the old city area (Paper Market, Steel Market, Serai Road, Timber Market, Shahrah-i-Liaqat etc.) which is a major financial hub of Karachi that contributes significantly to the trade and economy of Pakistan.
