GWADAR: The arrested leaders and supporters of Haq Do Tehreek (HDT) were shifted to Quetta from Turbat jail on Wednesday for further interrogation.

The arrested leaders and workers were brought to Quetta late at night amid tight security and handed over to the Crime Branch.

The detained leaders include Hussain Wadila,Yaqoob Joski and Sharif Miandad.

HDT chief, Maulana Hidayatur Rehman who was also booked in an FIR was yet to be arrested as the police has been unable to trace him so far.

Meanwhile, a local court has accepted the bail applications of 20 HDT supporters and ordered their release. They were arrested on the charges of blocking the coastal highway at Surbandan cross.

The internet service and Whatsapp, which were blocked due to protests, was restored in the port city after being suspended for over a week.
