DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Former provincial food minister and veteran politician Amanullah Khan Kundi alias Mannu Khan was laid to rest in Tank district the other day.

His funeral prayers were offered in his native Runwal village attended by a large number of people.

Amanullah Khan had won the election for the provincial assembly from Tank on the ticket of then Islamic Jamhoori Ittehad in 1988.

Mr Amanullah remained minister for food in Aftab Sherpao’s government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in 1988. He also stood in election on the ticket of Pakistan Peoples Party in Tank.

Amanullah Khan was the father of former MNA Dawar Khan Kundi, former district nazim Tank Mustafa Khan Kundi, Dilawar Khan Kundi and Abdullah Khan Kundi.
