He said music has a unique place in the culture of the whole country, in which traditions, simplicity and sincere love of the people of Punjab was hidden.“We are lucky that our culture has its own example which is loved all over the world,” he said, adding artists of Punjab have preserved their folk songs, their tunes and unique expressions in a rich way and today’s young generation is also benefitting from this.

Artists are considered messengers of peace around the world, he said, adding in the atmosphere of depression, arrangement of musical nights is much needed.

“There is no shortage of talent among Pakistani artists. Pakistani singers in classical music have performed worldwide,” he said.
