Learn to be independent
This is with reference to the article “Learn to be independent” by Faraz Ahmed (YW, December 10).
The article was written in a brilliant way and the writer suggested that we should not completely depend on our parents, instead we should learn to do things on our own.
Taking responsibility and doing small tasks regularly actually shows that we are learning to be independent and responsible.
It is better to know what we are capable of and how we can tackle things on our own.

The power of music
This is regarding the article “The power of music” by Kulsoom Rahimtoola (YW, December 17). I agree with the writer that music has the power to soothe one’s inner self, and by listening to music, we get patience and comfort.
Music also has a positive impact on education, which refines many skills of a child and improves the overall well-being.

Science fiction that made an impact
This is with reference to the cover article “Science fiction that made an impact” by Muhammad Omar Iftikhar (YW, January 7). The article was very informative and a good way to introduce our youth to such amazing novels. These novels will be beneficial for readers, particularly of science fiction, and will also enhance their writing skills.
In my reckoning, it is the best way to start this year and to remember the old novelists whose novels are a source of guidance for us even today.

Failure is not the end, it is the beginning
Some events in life leave a lasting impression and we develop our personality accordingly, for instance, failure.
Not only I, but most people hate failure, since it is considered by most as the end of life. They even miss many opportunities just to avoid failure. But I feel that failure is not the end of a career or life; in fact, it is just the beginning of your life’s struggles and with time, you become stronger.
Failure is not something to be ashamed of. Everyone experiences failure once in their lives, or even many times. But real fighters and the most successful people are those who take it as a lesson on the way to their goals.
Remember, good leaders are always those who pass all the barriers, whether smoothly or by falling and then getting up to start on their way again. So always make your failure as your motivation, it will lead you to your desired destination.
