NAROWAL: Police seized 534 bottles of imported liquor from a warehouse in Sialkot on Friday.

Police had got a tip-off that imported liquor bottles were stored in a private warehouse at Hajipura on the Daska Road. According to sources, the imported liquor was to be supplied to a wedding ceremony in Sialkot.

District Police Officer Muhammad Faisal Kamran formed a police team on the information base.

Hajipura Police Station conducted a raid and seized 534 bottles of liquor from the warehouse and arrested three suspects.

Mian Muhammad Razzaq, the spokesperson for the district police, said the police team arrested drug dealers Imran, Asad Ali and Muhammad Bilal during the raid.

He said an FIR had been registered against the suspects on the complaint of Sub-Inspector Adeel Mustafa.

He said samples of the seized alcohol had been sent to laboratories for test reports.
