LARKANA: A computer hardware and software projects exhibition was held at the Larkana campus of the Sindh University on Saturday which was inaugurated by pro Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Azhar Ali Shah along with Dr Nadeem Kanasro, Hussain Ali Kumbhar and other faculty members.
Students demonstrated fabrication, assembly, operations and functions of both hardware and software units related to the scientific research project meant for e-commerce and automated management systems in the fields of healthcare, education, tourism and entertainment, besides many other projects.
Dr Azhar Ali Shah appreciated the work of the students saying that these projects were beneficial to the industry and society. He urged the federal and Sindh governments to utilise talent of the youth for socio-economic development of the country.
Dr Shah said that students have introduced novel hardware and software technology for diversity of purposes. In order to encourage the youth, he urged the provincial government to establish a ‘technology park’ in Larkana and other district headquarters to positively engage the youth and channelise their potential.
