LAHORE: In its anti-encroachment operations launched in various parts of the city, Lahore Development Authority (LDA) on Tuesday demolished several illegal buildings over violations of construction rules.

The LDA town planning teams, along with enforcement wing and police, demolished illegal buildings including commercial shops, sheds and roads in Raiwind, a commercial hall was sealed in Bhobhatiyan Chowk and several shops were removed from a plot in J-block LDA Avenue-I. The teams also demolished several shops in F-block and eight shops at Main Boulevard LDA Avenue-1.
