HYDERABAD: Syed Abdullah Shah, Sind Provincial Minister has asked the old Sindhi leader, Mr G.M. Syed, to retire from politics and not to misguide the youth. In a statement … he said that Mr G.M. Syed stood fully exposed before the people of Sind who had rejected him during the last elections. He charged [Syed] with playing into the hands of foreigners to cause damage to this dear land of ours. He said: he is a man of contradictions and has no static principles in political or private life. His followers are issuing loose statements in order to create misunderstandings between the different sections of the people of Sind and they should be condemned by all sane and patriotic elements of the country. — News agencies
[Meanwhile, as reported by news agencies from Quetta,] the Baluchistan Minister for Information, Mir Gul Khan Naseer ... refuted the charges of Nawab Akbar Bugti against the NAP Government and described them as “creation of mischievous mind of Nawab Bugti”.
... He said the people of Baluchistan expect Akbar Bugti to see beyond his nose and not to lose his mental equilibrium by merely living in a marble house. He said it is surprising that Mr Bugti has now staged a new drama by displaying a hand-grenade.
