GUJRANWALA: A youth allegedly killed three of his relatives over breaking off engagement here on Friday at Mauza Nathosuya.

Reports said Mohsin Ejaz, a resident of Thatta Gondlan, Hafizabad, was engaged to his cousin. His uncle broke off the engagement. On Friday, Mohsin along with his mother Kausar Bibi visited his aunt’s house at Mauza Nathosuya for reconciliation. After exchange of arguments, Mohsin opened fire, killing his uncle Attaullah Saveya, aunt Safia and cousin on the spot.

Mohsin fled the scene after leaving his mother Kausar Bibi and his motorcycle there; however, locals overpowered him and handed him over to the police.

Police also took Kausar into custody and shifted bodies to THQ Hospital.
