TAXILA: The district police officer (DPO) and deputy commissioner (DC) of the district Attock were transferred on Monday.

According to a notification issued by the Punjab government, Sardar Ghais Gul Khan assumed the charge of DPO on Monday while predecessor Fazle Hamid was transferred and directed to report to the central police office Lahore.

Similarly, deputy commissioner (DC) Dr Hassan Waqar Cheema was transferred and posted as DC Rawalpindi with additional charge of newly carved district Murree while Rao Atif Raza, who was serving as additional secretary labour and human resource department has assumed the charge of deputy commissioner Attock.
