ISLAMABAD: Three persons were injured during robberies in the capital, police said on Monday.

In the first incident, two persons shot and injured a shopkeeper and a 12-year-old girl during a robbery at Golra Railway Station, the police said, adding that the injured were identified as Ali Shan and Isha Shahid.

The suspects raided Shan’s pharmacy and held him up at gunpoint along with his employee, police said, adding that they were able to escape with Rs25,000 cash from the shop. While escaping, they shot Shan and the girl on her leg.

Likewise, a man was shot and injured during a robbery in G-10/4.

The injured was identified as Osama Chaudhry, a resident of I-8/4.

A motorcyclist chased and intercepted him when he came out of a library and held him at gunpoint, police said, adding that Chaudhry handed him his laptop, mobile phone and a wallet.

While leaving, the robber shot Chaudhry on his leg, they said.
