DERA ISMAIL KHAN: A man assaulted a 15-year-old girl here, the police said on Wednesday.

An official of Nawab police station said a teenage girl filed a report under section 376 Pakistan Penal Code, stating that a man, namely Qudratullah of Wanda Muddat area, had forged a friendship with her through internet a month ago.

She said on the night of February 19, the man came to her house and took her away, saying he was taking her to his house and would marry her.

However, she said instead of taking her to his house, the man took her to his sitting room and forcibly raped her three times throughout the night.

The girl told the police the next morning he left her there and went away. She said she kept waiting there for him, but he didn’t return.

The girl said she did not go to her house fearing reprimand and went to a cousin’s residence.
