LAHORE: FG Polo and Master Paints registered victories in the second Takmeel Square President of Pakistan Polo Cup here at the Jinnah Polo Fields on Wednesday.

Raul Laplacette’s five goals led FG Polo to a 6-4 triumph over Diamond Paints. Mian Abbas Mukhtar converted one for the winners.

For Diamond Paints, Chulo Corti made a brace while Nico Roberts and Mir Huzaifa Ahmed struck one each.

The winners started the match by earning a 2-0 lead but Diamond Paints bounced back by converting a 40-yard penalty to reduce the deficit to 2-1. The losing team consolidated their position scoring two more in the second chukker to move ahead 3-2 before the winners equalised in the last minute of the chukker.

In the third and fourth chukkers, FG Polo came back strongly adding three goals against one to make the tally.

Meanwhile, Master paints defeated DS Polo 8-6½ thanks to Manuel Crispo’s four goals and brace each by Pelagio Balzaldi and Agha Musa Ali Khan.

For the losing side which had a half-goal handicap advantage, Hissam Ali Haider smashed five goals and Bilal Haye one.
