KARACHI: Sazgar Engineering Ltd (SEL) has announced to shut its car plant from Feb 27 to March 4 due to supply chain disruption on account of the government’s stringent measures of minimising the import of parts and accessories.

In a stock filing, the company said the three-wheeler plant would remain in operation.

SEL sales of Baic and Haval in 7MFY23 stood at 933 units as against 56 units in the same period last fiscal year. However, its three-wheeler sales remained 30pc lower to 5,871 units compared to 8,388 units in 7MFY22.
