GUJRAT: A lawyer was gunned down in firing by his expatriate elder brother over a property row in Pindi Rawan village of Miana Gondal police precincts in Mandi Bahauddin district on Monday.

Reports said lawyer Aftab Iqbal had been cultivating the land of his elder brother, Mahmood Saqib, who was settled in Germany; however both the brothers had a dispute of inherited house in the village upon which Saqib had asked Aftab to vacate the agricultural land that was being cultivated by him on a contract basis.

Aftab said he could only vacate the land after harvesting the crop within a couple of months which was not acceptable to the elder brother who opened firing at Aftab.
