LAHORE: Hearing a petition of PTI leader Hammad Azhar against the imposition of Section 144 in the city, Justice Tariq Saleem Sheikh directed the party to reschedule its Sunday’s rally and have a dialogue with the administration.

The judge advised the petitioner and the government to resolve the issues amicably.

The judge said a rally should be planned at least 15 days before its given day.

The judge directed the PTI to have a meeting with the chief secretary and the IGP to decide a new date for the rally with consensus.
