HYDERABAD: Besant Hall Cultural Center in collaboration with Institute of Arts and Design, University of Sindh, organised a one day exhibition of relics and artifacts of Indus Valley on Monday but the highlight of event were two calligraphy works by Sadequain put on display for the first time in the city.
The artefacts including crockery, pottery, tiles, toys etc recovered during excavation of Sehwan Fort, Banbhore site and Mansurah/Brahmanabad were also displayed at the exhibition.
According to cultural centre’s custodian Sobia Ali, the Endowment Fund Trust (EFT) that managed Besant Hall intended to hold a solo exhibition of Sadquain’s works.
