ISLAMABAD: A man was beaten and injured during a robbery in the capital, police said on Thursday.
Three persons riding on a motorcycle intercepted Arsalan Naseem and his sister in street 1, I-8/1, the police said, adding that two armed persons held them up at gunpoint and snatched two mobile phones from them.
However, Naseem put up resistance which annoyed the suspects and they started beating him, they said, adding later the suspects escaped.
