LAHORE: Former Pakistan head coach Mickey Arthur has been appointed by the Pakistan Cricket Board as the Consultant Team Director with Grant Bradburn becoming head coach, well-informed sources told Dawn late on Tuesday night.
According to the details gathered by Dawn, all six coaches of the national team will be foreigners. Among them, four will join the national team before the start of the home white-ball series against New Zealand, which comprises five T20 Internationals and as many One-day Internationals, from April 14.
Two coaches are already working with the national team: Cliffe Deacon (physio) and Drikus Saaimon (strength and conditioning coach).
Former South African pacer Morne Morkel will be the bowling coach and Andrew Puttick is the batting coach.

Arthur, who guided Pakistan to the Champions Trophy title in 2017, will pay a short visit before the start of the series to brief his hand-picked coaching panel before going back to work with Derbyshire as head coach.
He will come back in September to be with the national team in its preparation for the World Cup.
Morkel will miss the New Zealand series as he has commitments with a franchise of the Indian Premier League.
The length of the contracts of the coaching panel was not immediately known.
