LARKANA: The bodies of five persons, who were killed in a stove blast in their house in Iran on March 11, were brought to their native Razi Pitafi village, situated on the outskirts of Naudero town, for burial on Sunday.

The bodies of Ghulam Raza,19, his brother Mohrram Ali, 16, and three children, Baby Pathani, 6, Umme-i-Farwa, 3, and an infant (all sisters), were brought to Karachi by air and then taken to the village by road.

The ill-fated family had died when a stove in their house blew up in their house located in a village near Tehran, sources said. Ghulam Raza and Moharram Ali were daily wage earners and had been living there for several years, the sources in Naudero said.

A pall of gloom had fell on the village upon arrival of the bodies. They were buried in the victims’ ancestral graveyard amid touching scenes.
