SAHIWAL: Robbers struck Sahiwal localities multiple times on Sunday.

Five gunmen took away cash, a mobile phone, two motorcycles and a gun, all valued at Rs375,000 from a dairy farm near village 72/5-L on Sunday.

In another robbery, three gunmen intercepted Tayyab Ali and looted his mobile phone and Rs30,000 on College Road. Akhtar Ali was deprived of his rickshaw, Rs8,000 in cash and a mobile phone by four gunmen near 9-L Canal.

In yet another hit, three gunmen snatched mobile phones and Rs80,000 from brothers Nadeem Ali and Waseem near village 120/9L. The police registered cases.

Also, four robbers looted five-tola gold, Rs30,000 and a Rs5 million vehicle from a house located at Traiq Bin Ziyad Colony.

The gunmen came to the house of Chaudhry Munir in a car and remained there for 30 minutes. After looting valuables, they locked family members in a room and fled. The family said the gunmen were wearing masks and all of them had revolvers.

The Fateh Sher police rushed to the crime scene and investigated the matter.
