SUKKUR: Man killed in tribal clash

SUKKUR, Jan 18: One person was killed and 10 were injured in an armed clash between groups of Buledi and Shahaliani clansmen in Wandh Buledi and Mehrabpur on Monday night.

The man killed was identified as Sahib Dad. Names of the injured people could not be ascertained.

Police have been deployed in the area to control the situation.

LOOTED: An office-bearer of the Larkana Chamber of Commerce and the naib nazim of the Waleed union council were looted by armed bandits on Monday night.

Naib Nazim Abdul Razzaq Brohi and chamber of commerce office-bearer Badaruddin Abro were returning from Karachi when their car was intercepted by the bandits near the Chanhar graveyard, near Naseer Abad. The bandits took them away in the car at gunpoint.—BOC
