Guardians of the Galaxy 3 releases posters

Marvel Studios is highlighting the main characters of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, with a series of stunning new posters.

Vol. 3 marks the “end of an era” for this particular team within Marvel’s super-powered universe, as some of the names that made the Guardians franchise what it is, move on.

In celebration of the end of this era of the Guardians, Marvel is putting out posters, trailers and sneak peeks into the latest intergalactic epic. Each of the nine Guardians got their own poster with images of the cosmos overlaid on top of everyone striking a unique pose.

For example, Chris Pratt’s Star-Lord headlines the series, listening to his Zune MP3 player which will be key to the film’s expansive soundtrack. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has been confirmed to be the end of this Guardians story and comes to theatres on May 5.

New Batman and Robin series announced by DC

Starting this fall, it’s time for DC’s Dynamic Duo to team up once again, when a new Batman and Robin series begins this September as part of the DC initiative.

Little information was released about the new title beyond its launch date, creative team and that Bruce and Damian Wayne will once again work together to continue their fight against crime.

Batman and Robin also builds on the recently concluded Batman vs. Robin series, which brought long-simmering tensions between the father/son duo to a head in a manner that could only be accomplished in superhero comics — namely, involving magic, life and death, and the healing power of belief.

Batman and Robin launches in September.
