CHINIOT: Another victim of the fireworks explosion in Chiniot city also succumbed to his burns in hospital on Sunday. With the death of Qaisar Ali, the tally of deaths in the incident has reached three.

Qaisar, along with his mother, Parveen Bibi, and brother, Imran Ali, used to make fireworks at home at Tibba Kamanagran of the Chiniot city.

A couple of days back, explosive material used in the making of fireworks exploded, injuring all three of them.

The explosion led to a huge fire in the house in which all material was gutted while the three family members were seriously burnt.

They were shifted to the district headquarters (DHQ) hospital in critical condition.

However, there was no burn unit in the DHQ hospital and the doctors referred them to the Allied Hospital Faisalabad.

Parveen and Imran died in the Faisalabad hospital soon after their arrival while Qaisar succumbed to his injuries on Sunday.
