SWABI: Police claimed to have solved four blind murder cases in the district through professional investigation and use of modern technology.

According to Najamul Hussnain, the district police officer, two of the slain men were killed by their friends. He said that the killer of Shiraz Khan, whose body was found in Tordher on Saturday, was arrested and he also confessed to his crime.

The cause of the crime was exchange of hot words between the alleged killer and the deceased. The arrested man was identified as Nurullah.

Police said that Mohammad Usman of Maini village was killed by his friend Mohammad Tayyab.

They said that Haroon Khan of Tandkovi village was also strangulated by his friend Daniyal Ahmad. The causes of the two incidents were trivial issues.

Police also arrested Asim Khan of Zaida village in the blind murder case of Niaz Ali, who was killed in April. Police also recovered a Kalashnikov used in the crime from him.

BODY: A body was found in the limits of Yar Hussain police station on Sunday.

Police said that they were informed by locals that a dead body was lying in a canal in Jaganat village.

The deceased was shot dead from a close range. The body was placed in Yar Hussain police station for identification and pictures were also shared on social media.

Police have registered an FIR against unidentified murderers and started investigation.
