Addressing a press conference in Karachi, Wahab said, “We don’t find such an example in the entire world that the leader gets himself released and returns home in his Mercedes but asks his workers to get arrested.”

He also called on the arrested PTI leadership to ponder that they were seeting out to “cause damage” to the country for the sake of one man.

Sitting alongside him, Minister for Poverty Alleviation Shazia Atta Marri reiterated that for the country’s sake, the PPP was still open to continue dialogue if Imran “came to his senses” and wanted to “talk in political terms”.
