As elders, we are concerned about kids’ safe surfing on the internet and want them to have fun-filled and full of knowledge experience. So one such website that I recently explored is www.knowledgekids.ca — a website dedicated to providing fun and educational content to young kids.

The homepage of the website is just what a child would dream of — a vibrant and playful design featuring colourful graphics with characters that many children love to watch. The layout is simple and intuitive, with large buttons and icons, easy for even the youngest of children to interact with.

The site offers a wide range of educational content that is both entertaining and informative; with educational videos, games, and interactive activities that cover a wide range of subjects, including science, nature, history, arts, and more. All the videos are engaging, well-produced, and feature relatable characters that you can connect with; for instance, you’ll find many of your favourites like Paw Patrol, Wild Kratts, Kate and Mim-Mim, Zerby Derby, Mister Maker,Astroblast, Hi Opie, Ruff-Ruff, Tweet and Dave, Rob the Robot, Shaun the Sheep, Annedroids and more.

Whether you are interested in animals, art, dinosaurs, music or science, the site covers videos for every child’s unique passion. Moreover, the online games on the site let you play around with puzzles, shapes, numbers and letters in ‘Easy’ or ‘Hard’ mode. The website is fully responsive and adapts well to different devices, including smartphones and tablets.

Keep that in mind that the site takes child safety seriously. It does not collect your personal information without parental consent and has strict privacy policies in place to protect the privacy and security of young users.

The site is brought to you by Knowledge Network, British Columbia’s trusted public broadcaster.

For a safe and educational content for kids, www.knowledgekids.ca is worth exploring!
