PTI leader Jai Parkash has announced that he is quitting the party. Addressing the media in Karachi, he condemned the violence that took place in the country following the arrest of ex-premier Imran Khan.

He said that what had started off as a peaceful protest on May 9, turned into an attack in which army installations were targeted. He said that he did not know who the people involved in the attacks were and called for carrying out an investigation to punish those responsible.
