Climate Change Minister Sherry Rehman has said once again criticised PTI Chairman Imran Khan for “not condemning” the May 9 attacks on military installations, which followed the ex-premier’s arrest the same day, “despite voices arising [against them] from within the party”.

In a Twitter thread, she said, “Now, he says that a ‘conspiracy’ to turn the Pakistan Army against the PTI can break the country ‘into pieces’.”

Sherry added that Imran himself was to be held responsible for “violent politics, threatening tones, statements and allegations” and for the “conspiracy between the PTI and institutions if there was one”.

The minister assailed Imran for “defending the May 9 incidents instead of seeking forgiveness from the country and nation”.
