Imran Khan while giving an interview to the US broadcaster, Voice of America, stated that he has always talked about “peaceful protest” and staying within bounds of the Constitution and the law.

“Name one time I have given a statement where I have said that we will indulge in violence,” Imran said.

When asked about his relationship with the establishment, Imran said that he did not have any problem with the army chief. “I never had a problem with the army chief … who wants to take on the army of your own country?”
