PESHAWAR: The Bank of Khyber (BOK) has opened two branches in Islamabad to help promote financial inclusivity of people.

“We are delighted to extend our presence in Islamabad with the opening of two branches. This expansion is a reflection of our commitment to serving our customers better and bringing them closer to our innovative financial solutions,” BOK chief executive officer Mohammad Ali Gulfaraz said in a statement issued here on Friday.

He also stated that they were confident the newly-established branches would not only facilitate the residents but would also contribute to the city’s economic development.

The statement said the bank’s expansion marked another milestone in its mission to provide convenient banking services to customers across the country. The opening of the branches was a testament to the bank’s commitment to enhancing accessibility and fostering economic growth in the region.

“The newly-inaugurated branches bring the BOK’s comprehensive range of financial solutions closer to the residents, businesses and organisations in these vibrant communities,” the statement said, adding ‘with a strong focus on fostering financial inclusivity, the bank strives to build long-term relationships with its customers and become their trusted financial partner.’

The statement said BOK managing director Salma Barkaat and CEO Gulfaraz inaugurated the branches.
