QUETTA: An anti-terrorism court here on Monday ordered release of 24 workers and supporters of the PTI on bail.
The PTI workers were arrested by police on May 9 in connection with violent protests in the provincial capital. The bail application of 24 PTI workers, allegedly involved in violent incidents of May 9, was submitted to the court, which accepted it and granted bail to them against a surety bond of Rs300,000.
The workers include Bilal Khan Suri, the younger brother of Qasim Suri. After the bail, the PTI workers were released from Quetta district jail.
