QUETTA: An anti-terrorism court here on Mon­day ordered release of 24 workers and supporters of the PTI on bail.

The PTI workers were arrested by police on May 9 in connection with violent protests in the provincial capital. The bail application of 24 PTI wor­kers, allegedly involved in violent incidents of May 9, was submitted to the court, which accepted it and gran­ted bail to them against a surety bond of Rs300,000.

The workers include Bilal Khan Suri, the younger brother of Qasim Suri. After the bail, the PTI workers were released from Quetta district jail.
