DADU: A man and woman were killed on the pretext of honour in Rahu Colony in Kazi Ahmed, Nawabshah district, according to police.
Kazi Ahmed SHO Abdul Latif said the deceased, identified as Nadeem Solangi and Bakhtawar Bibi, were the victims of ‘honour killing’.
The cousin of deceased Nadeem Solangi, Muhammad Younus, who also got injured while the suspects tried to kill Nadeem, identified the suspects as Ali Dost and Yousif Solangi.
He said the suspects were the cousins of Bakhtawar who first killed Nadeem and later went to her house and killed her.
Social activists protested against the murder and demanded arrest of the accused.
