QUETTA: Measures are being taken to rehabilitate prisoners as useful citizens of society upon the order of the court, Federal Ombudsman Ejaz Ahmed Qureshi said on Thursday while addressing the business community during a visit to the Quetta Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

He said these measures were necessary to utilise the potential of these prisoners and they must be provided with basic facilities, such as medical help.

“The purpose of coming to Quetta is to meet people from all segments of society including businessmen and resolve their legitimate complaints.”
