TAXILA: Body of a newborn was found lying in the washroom of Pindigheb tehsil headquarters hospital on Saturday.

The hospital sweeper told police that when he entered the washroom to clean it he found the body, which was later shifted to DHQ Hospital Attock for autopsy.

Meanwhile, a woman was gunned down allegedly by her husband over a domestic dispute in the limits of Taxila Police station on Saturday.

Taxila Police have registered a case against the nominated accused and launched a search for him. The body of the woman was handed over for burial after autopsy at hospital.

Separately, a 13-year-old body was abducted by unknown persons in the limits of Wah Saddar Police station on Saturday.

Mohammad Yasir reported to Police that his nephew Mohammad Khizar went out of the house to play with friends and was abducted by unknown persons.
