SHANGLA: Three members of a family were killed and as many injured when a jeep fell into a ravine in Gandorai area of Bisham tehsil here on Saturday evening, a Rescue 1122 official said.

He told Dawn a mini jeep carrying five passengers was heading towards Gandorai village of Kormang when its driver lost control over the steering wheel. He said a man, his wife and a five-year-old child died on the spot and three others sustained injuries. He said the deceased and injured were identified as residents of Damorai area of Kana tehsil.

Rescue 1122 official said the injured and the bodies were shifted to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, Bisham, wherefrom the injured were referred to a hospital in Swat.
