Gas cylinder blast leaves four injured

PESHAWAR: Four persons sustained injuries in a gas cylinder explosion at Khattak Chowk in Gulbahar area here on Wednesday.

According to a statement issued by Rescue 1122, the explosion took place inside a gas cylinder shop, adding that it was believed that the explosion took place due to a gas leak injuring four persons.

“Fire broke out following the explosion but the situation was brought under control within 35 minutes of the call received by Rescue 1122,” the statement read. Two auto rickshaws were also gutted in the incident.
