KARACHI: Bodies of two unidentified women were found on different places near Superhighway on Friday, police said.

The first body, stuffed in a gunny bag, was found at a desolate place on Superhighway and Chhipa charity shifted it to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for a post-mortem examination.

Police Surgeon Summaiya Syed said that “the fragmentary remains of a female” comprising an incomplete skeleton and skull were brought to the hospital.

She said the cause of death could not be ascertained. All possible samples had been collected and sent for chemical examination, she added.

Also on city outskirts, the body of another woman was found at a remote place near Superhighway.

The Sachal police said the woman appeared to be in her mid-twenties. The body was found near New Sabzi Mandi and shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities.
