NAROWAL: An additional district and sessions judge has awarded death penalty to the man who raped his own daughter at village Bani Silharian of Pasrur tehsil, district Sialkot.

On June 21, 2022, a woman registered a case with the Sabz Pir police, saying her husband, Nazim Ali, had raped their 15-year-old daughter. Police registered a first information report (FIR) against the suspect.

District Police Officer Muhammad Hasan Iqbal took notice of the incident, arrested the suspect and completed the investigation.

Pasrur Additional District and Sessions Judge Umar Farooq Khan gave death penalty to Nazim after he was found guilty. The court ordered the convict to pay a fine of Rs0.5m or he would undergo another six months imprisonment in case of non-payment.
