Gloria Estefan, Post Malone honoured
Estefan, Teddy Riley, Jeff Lynne, Glen Ballard and Liz Rose were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame at the 52nd annual induction and awards gala in New York, where Malone received the Hal David Starlight Award.
Malone was all smiles as he posed for photos on the red carpet. The Hal David Starlight Award honours “gifted young songwriters who are making a significant impact in the music industry with their original songs.”
The Songwriters Hall of Fame Class of 2023 was announced in January. Snoop Dogg and Sade were originally part of this year’s class but deferred their inductions ahead of the ceremony.
Star Trek: Infinite reveals first gameplay with stunning trailer
Star Trek: Infinite is an upcoming grand strategy game from the publishers at Paradox Interactive.
This early trailer is certainly promising where players establish contact with sentient species, building space stations around planets, using diplomacy to improve relationships, and even engaging in ship-on-ship warfare.
Infinite also gives players access to all the factions and characters you’d expect. Whether you want to rule the galaxy as the United Federation of Planets, the Klingon Empire, or even the Cardassian Union, you’ll be able to do it. Along the way, you’ll have the option to recruit famous characters like Picard, Makbar, Data and many more depending on which faction you choose. Star Trek: Infinite is shaping up to be the grand strategy game players have been waiting for when it ships later this year.
