SUKKUR: Ghotki police claimed to have recovered a woman abducted from Gulbahar area in Karachi, arrested her kidnapper and handed both of them over to the Karachi police on Sunday.

Police said that SHO Mohammad Qabil Bhayo of Mirpur Mathelo police station on a tip-off raided a place along with his team at Mirpur Mathelo and recovered the Karachi-based lady identified as Gulshan Bibi and detained her kidnapper Mohammad Suleman Lashari, resident of Khanpur Mahar, Ghotki district.

On June 2, 2023, the suspected person kidnapped her from Karachi and brought her to the Ghotki district.

When the Karachi police reported to the Ghotki police about her abduction and her shifting to Ghotki, they mounted a search for her and finally recovered the woman safely on Sunday, added the police.

Murder suspect arrested

C-Section police claimed to have arrested a suspected person, Raja Phulpoto, who was reportedly nominated in the murder case of a resident of Khairpur identified Mohammad Khan Phulphoto.

When the news reached Khairpur, the widow Khan told the reporters that the arrested man, along with his accomplices, had murdered her husband brutally in Sukkur five months ago.
