KOHAT, Jan 28: Twelve people, including a woman, were killed and three others injured when a truck collided with a pickup vehicle on Saturday morning. The accident took place on the Indus Highway. A lorry bearing the number plate C-1066 hit the Toyota pick-up D-6115 in the rear as the vehicle approached Cheechana village near the town of Kohat, some 70 kilometres south of Peshawar.

Twelve passengers of the pickup died on the spot and three others were critically injured.

The victims were identified as Shirin Khan, Hazer Khan, Misri Khan, Fazl Subhan, Samiullah, Mohammad Ali Shah (1), Mohammad Ali Shah (2), Mohammad Amin, Haibat Khan, Hikmat Khan, Raisham Ali Khan and Lahore Khan.
