KARACHI: Several areas received intermittent showers on Saturday, breaking the hot and humid spell the city had been experiencing for the past many days.
According to the Met department, weather would remain wet on Sunday (today).
The areas which received rainfall included Jinnah Terminal, University Road. PAF Base Faisal, Quaidabad, Gulshan-i-Hadeed, Korangi, Gulistan-i-Jauhar, Gulshan-i-Iqbal, Federal B Area, Nazimabad, North Nazimabad.
In an advisory, the department stated that thunderstorm/rain with few heavy falls are likely in Karachi division and other districts of Sindh till July 9 with occasional gaps.
